Weekend Trip to Goa from Bangalore

A trip to Goa from Bangalore:   Since August 2016 I have done trips to Himachal Pradesh (Dharamshala and Mcleodganj) and Rajasthan (Jaipur, Ajmer, and Pushkar). All these were a solo trip and it all started from New Delhi. I came to Bangalore in November 2016 and planned a trip to Goa with my friends to celebrate year-end 2016 and the New Year 2017. We planned with three friends (Swadhin, Saurabh and Me). I booked the hotel 15 days prior to the trip just to avoid the non-availability of the rooms in Goa as it was the year-end. After booking the hotel ticket, I started pushing my friends for the trip just to avoid any last time cancellation by them. One of my friend in Bangalore lives next to my house only, so to convince him was much easy. But another friend was in BTM and when the trip date started coming close he lost his phone, so it became very difficult for me to update anything regarding the trip. Somehow I used to update him on Facebook. Finally, the trip date came and we...

After half an hour we were ready with the shaved head and ready to go to the temple. We took a Mahindra Jeep from that place and we got down near the temple. Now we were ready to go inside the temple. But before entering the temple premises we had to submit our electronic gadgets such as...

Exploring Delhi by Metro

Exploring Delhi by Metro Part Day-1:  I came to Delhi first time on 27th December 2007, the very same day Benjir Bhutto of Pakistan was assassinated so I can’t forget the date. Since then I spent 5 years and 4 months in the capital of India. But I never got a chance to explore the city as I was quite busy with my education. Except for India Gate and Qutub Minar, I have never been to any other places in Delhi. Now, I have come to Delhi second time on 21st February 2016 from Bangalore, It was a location transfer from my company, I accepted this transfer offer, because in Bangalore I had no task to do, I was on the bench for the last three months, so I happily said yes to my HR. Knowing Delhi for 5 years, which has the extream climate, in the winter its crazy cold and in the summer it's disgusting, but still, I came to Delhi. My office is in Noida, which comes under Delhi NCR and there is no difference in climate in Delhi and Noida, entire Delhi NCR has the same climate. Somehow I ...

Our scheduled date of departure was on 15th September 2015 and that of arrival was on 20th September 2015. We were four of us, my parents, my wife and myself. We stayed in a hotel which was around 5 km from the airport. The daily rental charges for the room were 4000 INR. This is one of the low budget hotels, though I do not recollect the name of the hotel.   We went to many beaches including Unawatuna beach, Bentota beach. A Trip to Chitkul | Unknown Heaven of Himachal

A Trip to Chitkul | Unknown Heaven of Himachal:  It is the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, at the height of 3,450 m. The Indian road ends here. Potatoes grown at Chittkul are one of the best in the world and are very costly. It's around 600 km from Delhi How to reach Chitkul:  You can take a bus for Chitkul or hire your own ride. You can also opt for free lifts. It's advisable to board the bus from Shimla or Recong Peo. My idea of Chitkul : I was warned by my friends that Chitkul is heaven on earth. I had spent sleepless nights imagining the beauty of this place but when I saw it for real, it blew my mind. Streams of the river (known as Khad by locals) flow all around this beautiful village. The fresh snow turns into chilly waters right in front of your eyes. Luscious Baspa river divides the snow-clad mountains filled with pine trees and the village. The color of this river changes as per the weather of the day....

Weekend Trip to Agra and Delhi from Kolkata: Hi Guys, I am Vigneswari working as a Software Professional in a reputed firm in Kolkata (The City of Joy). I have a strong desire to travel the world (WANDERLUST kind of). So, I always plan a short trip with my friends. This time we planned for Agra and Delhi trip from Kolkata. Starting our trip to see “One of the World’s Wonder TAJMAHAL” and much more. The gist of our trip: Our trip is only for 4 days. (i.e.,) starting from Jan 25, 2018, late night to Jan 30, 2018, early morning. Visit http://www.delhitourism.gov.in for more information. Day 1- 26th Jan(Kolkata to Agra): We (a group of 4 friends) start...
