Trip to Malaysia from India | Trip to Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur has gleaming skyscrapers, colonial architecture and mouth-watering food!
We went to the capital of Malaysia (Kualalampur) in December 2015, it is a young city since 1957 which boasts of the tallest twin towers in the world, famous shopping areas like the BBKLCC area, Chinatown or Petaling Street and a massive lake gardens.

For the city lover, there are numerous heritage buildings and museums around town while the most photographed place in Malaysia, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a must-visit place near the confluence of the rivers where Kuala Lumpur was born.
For nightlife, head over to Changkat Bukit Bintang and also Jalan P.Ramlee where all kinds of restaurants, bars, clubs, and cafes are located.

Day -1 |Kuala Lumpur City Tour

We started our first day with the evening city tour, we went to see a chocolate factory, and the imposing Kuala Lumpur Tower - the fourth tallest telecommunication tower in the world. After this we went to see the real beauty of Kuala Lumpur i.e. twin towers, I clicked number of selfies there to get a perfect shot with these beauties: P, after this we went to Chinatown to buy some stuff, girls can get so many things to buy which includes handbags, cosmetics etc at low prices.

Day -2 | The Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

Next day, our plan was to go to Sunway Lagoon, during the day after heavy breakfast, we have been picked-up on a private transfer from the hotel's lobby and taken to Sunway Lagoon, it is undoubtedly the one-stop place for fun. Sunway Lagoon is divided into several theme parks with various rides i.e. Water Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park, Scream Park and Extreme Park. We started exploring the parks one by one, I started with a 360 ride pirate’s revenge, it is a pirate ship in the shape of a gallon. I won’t recommend this ride to faint-hearted persons. Then I went for Grand Canyon water rapids, butch Cassidy trail, and many more rides.

Then I went to the wildlife park where I saw white tigers, new snake area, and many more wildlife encounters. I had never seen a tiger so close to me in my entire life so this was all over a different experience for me, after this we tried our hands in some adventurous sports park i.e. Extreme Park, we did Go kart, paintball shoot, all-terrain vehicle, archery etc. after this we went for The Ghostbusters Adventure-Live! It is a spooky, scary, and slimy walk-through attraction designed to give you a fun startling adventure to see if you are a scaredy-cat, or if you have what it takes to become a Ghostbusters! I must say we were dead scared by the end of this horror house! Last but not least we enjoyed a lot in the water park. Do remember to carry a change of clothes along and wear comfortable footwear for Sunway lagoon.

Day -3 | Batu Caves

Next day in the morning we have been picked up for Genting highlands along with Batu Caves, Batu caves story says that the cave dates back to 400 million years, the Batu cave has three caves, one for which I climbed the steps, the other is the museum cave and the art gallery cave which is at the base of the hills and portrays beautiful Hindu statues and paintings. Though climbing 200-300 steps seems tough, but they are worthy, you are going to love Batu caves from the top.

After Batu caves, we have been driven to the Genting Highlands which is not only a natural relief from all the noise of the city but also an ultimate destination for blood-pumping excitement with indoor and outdoor theme parks, an 18-hole golf course, and a casino. We took a cable car ride (Genting skyway) to reach Genting and checked in to the world largest hotel in there which has 7400 rooms. After freshening up we started exploring Genting highlands, we started with an indoor snow themed park and enjoyed a lot, afterward we did shopping and in the night we went for casino and came back late in the night.

Day -4 | Genting Highlands

Next day we started with Genting again, 2 days are less for Genting I must say, on this day we did bowling and enjoyed a lot at Genting bowl, then we tried to explore Genting as much as we can as there is a number of restaurants and shopping malls. A visit to the Genting Highlands will be a memorable experience and one that should not be missed. Do remember to carry some shrug or jacket for Genting Highlands as it is little cold there because of a hilly area.

Next day in the morning we have been transferred to the airport and we left Malaysia with so many good memories in our heart.
