Trip to Bali from India | Trip to Indonesia
From magnificent mountains to rugged coastlines to volcanic hillsides to black sandy beaches, it’s no surprise Bali is known as the Island of the Gods. Located between the Java and Lombok island, Bali (Balikpapan) boasts a rich and diverse culture that’s quite peculiar.
We went to Bali in last December, and I must say it was the most memorable trip we had.
We did parasailing, jet ski, and banana boat, jet ski was accompanied by an instructor on piggyback while you freely take the control, we loved doing all the three water sports and then there was a restaurant at the beach, we went inside for some snacks and noticed that there is a swimming pool inside which clearly give view of beach too, we enjoyed swimming there with the view of beach. Then we came back to our hotel and checked the local market, I bought dream catcher from there, I must tell you Bali is famous for dream catchers.
In the evening we went to Tanah lot temple, Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. An ancient Hindu shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves; Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not-to-be-missed icons. At Tanah lot, I sat for almost 2 hours and I must say, 2 hours were less to see that breathtaking view, I saw foreigners doing sea surfing there, and it was something new and awesome for me to see that.
Just a hop away from the Ubud Art Market is the palace of the Ubud royal family, referred to as Puri Saren Agung. The Ubud Royal Palace is one of the most prominent places in Ubud, as it is smack-dab on the main Jalan Raya Ubud road and intersection. The palace can also be regarded as the focal landmark of Ubud.
Next morning we went to the pool of our resort and enjoyed a lot with some drinks and good music, in the afternoon we had a flight to catch. We came back to India with lots of memories in our heart.

Day-1 | Tanjung Benoa

Day -2 | Seminyak Beach
Next day in the morning we went to Seminyak beach, Located on the west coast of the southern region of Bali, to the north of Kuta and south of Umalas, Seminyak Beach is relatively quiet during the day. Its cool, sunny and breezy ambiance provides a perfect site for hanging out with your friends, kite flying, sunbathing or swimming – but be sure to check the red flags displayed by lifeguards indicating a ‘No-Swim Zone’ before you jump into the ocean. Day -3 | Ubud
Next day we went to Ubud and saw Ubud monkey forest, Tegallalang Rice Terraces, Puri Saren Royal Palace and Ubud art market. I won't recommend visiting Ubud monkey forest as there was nothing special in it, Bali’s traditional, centuries-old cooperative irrigational system known as ‘Subak’ has created among the most beautiful terraced landscapes in Southeast Asia. Several minutes’ drive north of the main Ubud center is the cool upland area of Tegallalang, which has become famous for its scenic stopover where travelers to the northern region drop by for snapshots and souvenirs. Day -4 | Spa Treatment
Next day we went for a spa treatment, it was one of the amazing spas we had, it was for 120 minutes which included a small pedicure, body scrub, massage and a shower. After the spa relaxed we came to our resort and got ready for a sunset cruise. There was a photographer at the entrance, he clicked many good photographs, afterward, we got welcome drinks and we went on the cruise. Traditional Bali dance was going on inside the cruise, we went at the top of a cruise and enjoyed the view of the sea. Then we had dinner and came back to the resortNext morning we went to the pool of our resort and enjoyed a lot with some drinks and good music, in the afternoon we had a flight to catch. We came back to India with lots of memories in our heart.
