2. National Museum, New Delhi:

National Museum is one of the largest museums in India. This museum depicts the glory of ancient era constructed in 1949 at Janpath in Delhi. You can experience the royal coaches of our Indian kings. Attractions of National Museum are Buddhist section with Buddha statue and remnants of Gautam Buddha. Other attractions of National Museum are armors, jewelry, manuscripts, paintings, etc.
Entry & Timings: 10Rs for Indians and 300Rs for Foreigners. From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

3. Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai:

Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya is a popular museum in Mumbai taken place at the 20th century. Once this museum was known as Prince Wales’s Museum. This museum mainly comprised of three sections of Archaeology, art, and natural history.
The main attraction of Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya is the art section which is related to times of Gupta and Chalukyas era. Mostly Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya is a scientific backdrop museum in India.

4. Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad:

Salar Jung is a famous and most popular museum in Hyderabad. This museum was also a multipurpose and functionality museum in India. Salar Jung Museum was spotted as an institution of National importance by the Indian Parliament. Salar Jung Museum has a varied collection of different things. Many collections in Salar Jung Museum has brought up from so many different countries like North America, China, Nepal, Egypt, Europe, Burma etc. Collections of this museum are paintings, artifacts, carvings, textiles, clocks etc from different countries.

5. Calico Museum of Textiles, Ahmedabad:

Calico is a famous textile museum in Ahmedabad by Gautam Sarabhai and his sister Gira Sarabhai in 1949. Fabric works on clothes are very impressive and attractive. Attractions of Calico Museum are the Religious Textiles gallery and collections of Mughal era etc. Mostly this museum was encompassed with many Mughal era textiles like carpets, weapons, and hamlets. Here textiles used by Mughal emperors are preserved. Famous fabric collections of Calico are silk weaving, scarves, patolas, Persian carpets used by King Akbar etc.
